Boarding – Birmingham Christmas Market
On Sunday the 29th November, around 50 boarders and 6 staff set off for Birmingham and the Christmas Market. Although the weather was not that pleasant, everyone was looking forward to some Christmas spirit and plenty of shopping. A nice day was had by all wandering round the different stalls, selling everything from gifts to Bratwurst sausages, which definitely tasted as good as they smelt. There was even time for a trip on the big wheel for some of the students and staff, giving them a nice view of the city, even with the worsening weather. All the students left Birmingham mid-afternoon to get back to school for their advent mass and meal, then off to bed after a long, enjoyable day.
