Boarding – Sushi Masterclass – 21st September 2014
On Sunday 21st September, we were treated to a Sushi master class by Alana Chin and Leo Fan. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their demonstration, followed by ‘having a go’ themselves and then, the best bit, eating what they had made! It was delicious, even if some did have a little too much wasabi; John and Ivan had tears in their eyes! For some, it was the first time tasting Nori seaweed, sushi rice with a dash of rice vinegar, avocado and sweet omelette made by Annisa and Bernadette. Afterwards we were asked by Ines if we could look to do a different country each time, so hopefully she will lead a group in a master class of Spanish cuisine.
