Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Presentation Evening
On Tuesday 5th September, we celebrated the successes of some of our latest students to gain their Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This is a significant achievement and requires a good deal of time and effort to be spent on four different sections (five at Gold level). It gave participants, parents and staff a chance to reminisce over drinks and canapes, in particular remembering the highs and lows from our expeditions.
Mr Louis Massarella (our chairman of governors and also parent to one of our successful candidates) presented the certificates. Several students were unable to be with us due to reasons as varied as leaving for university, already on a gap year in Chile, now residing in a different county and more so we send them our congratulations too.
