Race for Life

On Sunday 12th June, a team of 30 girl boarders and staff took to the streets of Loughborough to run the Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK.  It was a fun morning and yet, at the same time, everyone was suitably moved by the occasion which enabled us to reflect on the reason why we were all there.  The girls ran or walked and pushed themselves to their limits, doing their bit for this wonderful charity. In order to raise money, the girls spent their weekend baking for a cake sale in the Prep School, alongside collecting a significant amount of money in our ‘change for cancer’ appeal which asked pupils throughout the school to donate their loose change.  We have raised over £1700 to date, fruit of hard work and dedication from all those involved.  Thank you to everyone for supporting this appeal.
