The opponents for the girls’ netball team were Denstone College.

The 1st team had to work hard to secure a 24 – 16 win. Nicole Spencer was Player of the Match.

The 2nd team had a very competitive match which finished in a 16-all draw. Player of the Match was Sofia Henderson.

The 3rd team lost 5 – 15. Player of the Match was Ellie Baker for excellent all-round play.

The U15A team lost a tight game 13 – 12. The whole squad were awarded Player of the Match.

The U15B team lost their match against a tough, physical team. Player of the Match was Mimi Khan.

The U14A team won 20 – 2. Maddie Bryant was Player of the Match.

The U14B team lost 6 – 3. Player of the Match was Verity Mangham.

The U13A team has an excellent win 10 – 6. Special mention goes to Amelia Wells who stepped up to play goal attack. Player of the Match was Victoria Wheatley.

The U13B team had a fantastic win, 5-4, in a close game. Players of the Match were Isla Jenks and Fisayo Abiodun.

The U12A lost a close game 12 – 9.  Player of the Match went to Sophie Walker.

The U12B team had a fantastic 9 – 0 win. Player of the Match went to Sophie Packwood.

The opponents for the boys’ hockey teams was Kimbolton School.

The 1st team suffered a 6 – 1 loss. Player of the Match Harry Culpin and Goal scorer was Alex Purcell.

The 2nd team lost 5 – 1. Harry Best was the goal scorer and Player of the Match went to Dominic McKaig.

The 3rd team also lost their match. Thomas Hammond was Player of the Match.

Midweek the U15A team beat Nottingham High School 10 – 0. Players of the Match were Tom Page and James Turner. On Saturday, the U15’s won an exciting game 2 – 1. Goal scorers were Tom Page and Stanley Chell. Alex Tyszka was awarded Player of the Match.

The U15/14B team came up against a very strong side and battled hard eventually losing 3 – 0. Player of the Match was Jeff Chang.

The U14 team competed hard in their match and drew 0 – 0. Dan McGunnigle picked up Man of the Match in his first game of the season.

The U13 team lost to a strong and well organised side. Wilf Milner was Player of the Match.

The U13B’s drew their match 3 – 3. Player of the Match goes to Callum Storey for his strong play on the wing.

The U12s got their season underway with a 2 – 2 draw. Ed Offer and Harry Cregeen were the goal scorers. Player of the Match was Fin Spencer.

The 1st XV rugby team gained a comfortable 50 point victory against Welbeck 2nd XV in the Quarter final of the County Plate competition. Henry Wells, who scores four tries and Matthew Ward were Players of the Match.
