Dear Parents,
I am writing to inform you of the arrangements we have made for the start of the School year in September 2013.

Friday 30th August
There will be Welcome/Induction programmes for:

  • All children, new and current, in the Nursery School, from 8.45am-2.00pm.
  • All pupils, new and current, in Years 1 to 6 in the Junior School, from 8.45am-2.00pm.
  • All day students in Year 7, from 8.45am-2.00pm.  This will include all students who are transferring from the Junior School into the Senior School. (No boarders)
  • All students in Year 12, from 8.45am-2.30pm.  This will include those new to the school and our current students who are transferring into the Sixth Form after their GCSE examinations.

(No boarders)

Please note, there will be no school buses on this day.  Those students who are new to the Senior School but not in Years 7 or 12 do not have a specific Induction Day. New students to the School in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will begin school on Monday 2nd September and should meet at the Old Library near to the main school reception, where they will be met by their Head of Year. All new boarders must arrive on Sunday 1st September by 4.00pm.

Sunday 1st September
All boarders please arrive by 4.00pm.

Monday 2nd September

Classes will start for all students (the normal school bus service will be in operation)
