Year 5 Residential Trip to Stratford Upon Avon
On Thursday 6th February Year 5 journeyed to Stratford upon Avon for a two day residential visit. The trip was arranged to support their Tudor History topic, but also supported Art, Design and Technology and Drama.
The visit included lots of activities including workshops at the Falstaff Tudor Museum, a trip to the MAD museum, a guided tour of Stratford and an evening meal at a local restaurant. The highlight of the trip, though, was undoubtedly the chance to see the evening performance of ‘Wendy and Peter Pan’ at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The children and staff enjoyed a truly remarkable experience.
After a hectic two days everyone appreciated a restful weekend with a chance to reminisce over a fantastic two days.
