Head of Academic PE

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational full-time Head of Academic PE and PE and Games Teacher, who will prove to be charismatic, enthusiastic and energetic. You will be able to build-upon our excellent academic record.  You will also be able to coach one or more of our major sports (girls: netball, hockey, tennis. boys: rugby, hockey and cricket).

For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of Head of Netball. Please refer to your suitability for this post in your application.

Teacher of PE and Games

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational full-time PE and Games Teacher, who will prove to be charismatic, enthusiastic and energetic.   You must be able to coach one or more of our major sports (Girls: netball, hockey, tennis. Teacher of Economics & Business

Part-Time Post required September 2018. 0.5-0.7 FTE

Ratcliffe College is seeking an outstanding teacher for our Economics & Business Department. This opportunity will involve teaching both A Level Business (Edexcel) and A Level Economics (Edexcel Economics B). For the successful candidate there may be additional teaching in another subject if offered. There may also be an opportunity to teach Economics and Business at GCSE level in the future, but we currently only offer the subject at A Level. Our Economics results last year were 76.2% A*-B. The Business A Level has the 1st cohort sitting their examinations this year. The candidate should be dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified to teach both Economics and Business within the Senior School.

Support Staff Vacancies

Full time Chef de Partie required

39 hours per week, 46 weeks per year

As a member of a team of 7 chefs you will contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen. Working with fresh ingredients, for an extensive range of catering needs, from freshly produced school meals to banquets, seven course meals and other functions. You will need to be flexible in your approach; with a sound basic knowledge and enthusiasm to work as a team player and communicate clearly. The ideal candidate will have NVQ 1/2 in food preparation and cooking or equivalent.

Domestic Assistant

A Domestic Assistant is required to ensure the high standard of cleaning is maintained at this beautiful Private School. The Domestic Assistant will work Monday to Friday, 6.00 am to 9.00 am; 15 hours per week, over 52 weeks. (plus 7.30 am to 9.30 am alternate Saturdays.

Experience of cleaning and /or working in a School will be an advantage. 20 days holiday per year offered, plus the days between Christmas and New Year.
