The Ratcliffe Community

The Ratcliffe Community is a vibrant group of associated organisations, all of which provide tremendous support to the School.

The Rosmini House of Prayer, set amid the beautiful rural grounds at the far end of the School Campus, provides spiritual support not only to the School through the presence of our four Rosminian Priests, but also to the local and national communities.

Fr Antonio Belsito, Father Rector (abelsito@ratcliffe.leics.sch.uk), leads many retreats for pupils, staff, parents and those who wish to experience spiritual direction.  He is assisted by Fr David Tobin, Father President, and Fr Simon Giles and Fr Anthony Furlong, Assistant Priests, all of whom nurture the School’s spiritual needs.

The Parents’ Association enjoys an excellent relationship with the School.  It exists to support the many activities within the School, from the Nursery to the Sixth Form, as well as providing opportunities for parents to relax and enjoy themselves together at a range of social occasions.  The PA is particularly vibrant, and warmly welcomes all parents to participate at all levels.  The Chairman of the Parents’ Association, Mrs Jenny Howling, would be delighted to hear from any parents who wish to enjoy the events organised or who may feel able to assist in such events.

The Ratcliffe Association provides a forum for all Old Boys and Old Girls, former students of Ratcliffe College.  The RA Committee meets once every term, to plan events and to maintain effective links with the School.  Former students enjoy wonderful times reminiscing over the ‘old days’ at regional reunions, including dinners organised around the world to enable all former students to remain in touch both with each other and with current developments at the School.  The Ratcliffe Association Secretary, Mrs Alex Slack, is always delighted to hear from Old Boys and Girls.
